Not what I want to be, not what I'm gonna be, but thank God, I'm not what I was.

The foot came down..

Okay, as much as I love my g-kids, there have GOT to be rules and limits, even to Grammy's good graces. I got home for lunch to find the youngest 2 eating a box of (low fat, sugar free) fudge pops. Then I made the mistake of going downstairs to the .........DISASTER! So, it was sandwiches for lunch (no DQ or Wendy's today), except for the 2 youngest, the fudge pops got the be their lunch, no going to the pool, and stern instructions to clean up the basement. Hubby was off at noon today, so He got the pleasure of making sure they did as instructed. Tonight, I went back down into the basement and discovered that a board on the pool table has been broken. That didn't make me a happy camper. So, for the evening, the basement was off limits, which meant no PlayStation, no Disney Channel, no computer. I guess even a Grammy has her limit. But, surprisingly enough, it was a pleasant evening with everyone watching TV together. Of course it was Grandaddy's choice of what to watch. Now everyone is in bed and the house is quiet. My favorite time o f day .:)

Ours aren't old enough for that kind of mischief yet. Guess I'll enjoy that while it lasts. LOL!
